A 4-location auto dealership group had fewer than 12 total Google reviews spread across all locations. Their competitors had 150–300 reviews and were dominating local search results. The team had tried asking customers verbally but had no systematic process.
Our Solution
We built a fully automated review generation system using Make, Twilio SMS, and the Google Business Profile API. The system:
1. Integrates with their DMS to identify customers who completed a service or purchase within the past 48 hours
2. Sends a personalised SMS from the service advisor's number at the optimal time (9am–7pm only)
3. Directs customers to a mobile-optimised review landing page with one-click Google review link
4. Monitors all new reviews and sends Slack alerts for anything under 4 stars so the team can respond fast
5. Auto-generates professional response drafts for 5-star reviews using GPT-4o
The Results
- 147 new Google reviews across 4 locations in 90 days
- Rating improved from 3.9 to 4.7 stars
